GYMNASTICS INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT
Minimum age 15 yrs.
Gymnastics, Dance or Cheer background preferred
Position includes greeting children, leading class warm-ups, assisting gymnastics instructors with class management, moving mats, supervising basic stations, light cleaning, and dismissing students to their parents.
Must be friendly, positive, reliable and able to demonstrate basic gymnastics positions (butterfly, straddle sit, pike stretch, etc.)
Will include on the job training for eventual promotion to class instructor.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
Work Location: One location
GYMNASTICS COACH
2-5 afternoon/evenings per week / 4-20 hours per week
The ideal candidate will be an experienced gymnastics instructor with a heart for children. Must understand and utilize proper gymnastics progressions. Must be able to maintain class control and implement safety standards at each station. Must be a cooperative, upbeat individual willing to work together for the benefit of all. Must love teaching and spending time with children. Must be interested in self-growth and reflection. Must use positive language and be solution oriented.
Our small program is family centered, child centered, and focused on growth and success for all. Must embrace teaching children of all skill levels, ages, body types and talent levels.
Position will include lesson planning, setting up for, and instructing a variety of school aged gymnastics classes. Could include preschool classes or team coaching for the right individual.
